Coastal Intelligence for Resilience

This team studies how waves, tides, storm surge, and sediment movement reshape coastlines under pressure. Its work supports humanitarian planning, infrastructure protection, habitat preservation, and evidence-based risk reduction in exposed littoral zones.

By combining field observation, geospatial interpretation, and applied mechanics, the unit helps identify unstable shorelines, forecast erosion pathways, and inform interventions for ports, settlements, evacuation corridors, and coastal ecosystems.
